In 1999, my husband and I changed our lives.

We left Canada, moved to Mexico, built and ran a B&B in Huatulco, Oaxaca

After 22 years, it was time to change our lives again.

​

We sold the B&B

and are renovating a large property in Merida Yucatan

​

This is a huge midcentury family home with a separate casita.  

We are turning the casita into a self-contained one bedroom house

and dividing the main house into two three- bedroom homes. 

 

I made mistakes building our B&B and hope to have learned from them
